Just outside town, the Haliburton Sculpture Forest hides dozens of artworks along forest trails, and Lake Kashagawigamog — “Kash” to locals — stretches west with cottages along its shores.
North of the village, Haliburton Forest and Wild Life Reserve offers a canopy walk, wolf centre and hundreds of kilometres of trails.
