Before you book with your pet

• Tell the owner what pet you bring: how many, size and breed. Ask about any pet fee or deposit.
• Ask the house rules: furniture, beds, crates, and whether the dog may be left alone.
• Many park beaches don’t allow dogs; check the local rules before you go.
• Pack the bed, bowls, leash and waste bags, and check for ticks after walks in the woods.
