Tait Lake Retreat is a large four-season lakeside home in L'Amable, about five minutes south of Bancroft, with the lake on one side and 7.5 private wooded acres on the other. It sleeps up to 19 guests in six bedrooms with 3.5 bathrooms, which makes it a natural fit for family reunions and big groups of friends.

The dining table seats 14, with more seating in the rooms next to it. There are two living rooms, each with its own fireplace, a theatre room with an 85-inch TV and a popcorn station, a wet bar, a fully equipped kitchen and laundry. Outside: a screened porch for meals and lounging, a wraparound deck looking over the lake, a second deck over the bay, a hot tub, a fire pit and a waterfall koi pond.

In summer, spend the days on the lake or ride the ATV trails just across Highway 62. In winter the lake and woods are for snowmobiling, ice fishing, skating and snowshoeing on the property's own trails. Firewood, basic toiletries and basic cooking items are provided, so you mostly need to bring food and clothes. Ask the owner about rates and availability for your dates.
